Description

Omaha Reuben Sandwich Fused with Mexican-American Chimichanga

Ingredients

  • 1 rye tortilla
  • 1⁄4 lb corned beef or pastrami
  • 1⁄4 c sauerkraut
  • 1⁄2 c swiss cheese
  • 1 vegetable oil

Instructions

Shred corned beef/pastrami.
Drain sauerkraut.
Shred cheese.
Wrap cheese, meat and sauerkraut in center of tortilla.
Place a wooden toothpick through the tortilla to hold it together.
Deep fry until crisp.
